Sita Kalyanam | Sonnet – 7 | Siya goes to Ayodhya
Time has created a new twist for King of Mithila,
Janak had to part with the chimes of his heart;
Fortune of Mithila favored Sons of Ayodhya,
Mithila bid a farewell for the young sweethearts.
King of Ayodhya setout for the homecoming odessey,
met sage Parasuram midway, writhing in rage;
Without loosing temper but with modesty,
Raghav cooled and tamed the enraged divine sage.
Ayodhya was spellbound by the laurels and fame,
angelic Siya was super natural and stately;
Allegiance of Siya encircled Ram, as a frame,
Halo of SiyaRam enshrined the God of Glory.
God has come as Ram to prove his kind grace,
faith is Ram as Icon, faith is God’s peace.
